Blue Lips

Excepting that lips express the best the beauty and the sensuality of a woman, they can also show different affections of the body. For example, if our lips are burning, it may be a sign of a flu or cold. In this way, we have to pay attention to our lips, because they can say many secrets that neither you don’t know about you.




The person who has blue lips may suffer of a chronicle, respiratory or heart disease. Blue lips may also indicate the fact that the organism doesn’t receive enough oxygen because of one or more respiratory problems, for example asthma or pneumonia. On the other hand, somebody who has blue lips can suffer of anemia, which is a low quantity of iron in the organism.

A poor oxygenation may appear as well on the persons who smoke, because of the carbon dioxide from the smoke in the cigarette which blocks the hole quantity of oxygen to arrive into the lungs and other organs.

Because the main cause of blue lips is the poor oxygenation of the heart and brain, they can also be met on the persons who have suffered a heart attack, a stroke or that have been in danger of drowning.

So, if you see a person among you that has blue lips and breaths hardly, you must know that person may suffer a heart attack right in front of you, so you should know the main rules in giving the first aid until the ambulance is getting to the patient.

The main rules reside in removing all the elements that block the respiration of the person, like clothes, leaves and so on, the heart massage and the artificial respiration, also known as “the mouth-to-mouth respiration”.

In cases like this, no matter if you are on the beach, on the street or in a supermarket, you should know how to recognize the affections of a person according to the aspect of its skin. If somebody’s skin has turned into blue or even purple, you should know that the person may suffer of hypothermia and needs to be transported urgently in a warm place and has to drink hot drinks, in order to help his body to get to the normal temperature again.

But for these situations not to happen, we must care more about our health, to think how important is to have an organized life, with a proper nutrition, some sports and some moments of relaxation because we live in these modern times which they barely let us breathe.

The easiest way to do that is to get rid of all the harmful habits, like smoking and drinking in excess, too much coffee and sweets and the ignorance for fruits and vegetables.
