Directions+using Guides For French Manicures

Even though French manicures have been around for a very long period of time they are still very popular. You should know that the style has been used for the first time in the 18th century when the French royalty got their nails done. At that time they had servants to make the nails for them. In our days we have to go to a nails salon to get the nails done. Another possibility might be to do the nails for ourselves and in this case you might need some directions + using guides for French manicures. In this article I will try to tell you all about the application of French manicure. I am going to describe the basic one since it is the most simple.

There are some things that you will need: instruments for a regular manicure (scissor, file, clipper, cuticle pusher, polishes, nail polish remover). The first thing you have to do is to wash the nails thoroughly.  Then moisten a cotton pad with nail polish remover and remove any trace of the former nail polish. Then get the nails shaped and the cuticles treated. You could also use some lotion or hand cream to moisturize the hands. In this case it is important to take a cotton pad and moisten it with polish remover or alcohol and clean the surface of the nails. This wi8ll remove the oil or grease that might be found on the nails that could stop the polish from adhering to the nails.

Now we get to the point where you can start polishing. The first layer that you should apply is a layer of base coat. This has several purposes: evening the ridges that the nail might have, protecting the nails from the damaging effects of the nail polish and it also offers a better adherence to the next layer of nail polish. Once this layer has dried you should stick some nail guides to create the perfect smile lines. Be sure that you stick them well so that no nail polish will be able to get under it because it will smudge.

Then polish the tips with white polish and wait for them to dry. When the tips have dries remove the guides. The next step is to apply a base color on the whole nails. This color can be pink, beige or nude. Wait until the polish dies and then apply the last layer of polish, a top coat. This is meant to protect the nails. It might be a good thing to apply a layer of top coat every night before you go to bed to protect the manicure for a long period.

I hope that you will be able to use the directions + using guides for French manicures that I have told you about because this is the easiest and fastest way to get the perfect French manicure. Once you get all this done you are good to go and don’t forget to take care of your nails.
