Dirty Fingernails

Perhaps one of the most representative attributes of femininity is the manicure and pedicure – the more beautiful the nails are, the more you’ll feel more beautiful, confident in yourself and just … sexy! But for this to be possible, it is not sufficient to use the most beautiful shades of nail polish. Proper care of nails is essential, while dirty fingernails must be an old issue in order to obtain a satisfactory result.





What to do to prevent nails from becoming dirty? Wear protective rubber gloves when you use detergents, chemicals (disinfectants, for example) or harsh soaps in housekeeping. Also, do not forget the gloves when you perform activities that could compromise manicure – and working in the garden. After concluding work, wash your hands with a mild soap and apply a moisturizer to prevent dry skin and dirty fingernails. If, by force of circumstances, hands often come into contact with water, it is advisable to use a cream containing silicone.

Are your nails blackened even though you have followed the rules of care and done your regular manicure? Twice a week, apply a special treatment, introducing your nails into fresh lemon juice for 5-10 minutes. You should not do this more often, because dehydration can occur due to skin irritation. It is preferable that the nails be permanently protected by a layer of varnish or nail polish – most such products contain vitamins that will strengthen the tissues and help your fingernails.

Moreover, you should take care not to apply more than up to two layers of basic nail polish – otherwise, it is possible that over time nails become brittle and weakened. When you apply transparent varnish or nail polish, it is preferable to move the brush slightly, in one direction, simultaneously covering the entire surface of the nail. Not specified movements up and down – nail will not stain uniformly and probably will remain unsightly blemishes. Avoid using fingernails to open a box, to extract an object from a narrow space and other similar activities.

There is the possibility of breaking nails or damaging cuticles. Avoid, as possible as you can false nails. It may be risky because under the nail there appear infections and dirty fingernails are not esthetic at all.  Also, some women are allergic to the adhesive substance used for fixing the nails. Nail polish does not remove otherwise than with solvent – do not think to split them, because nail can be deeply affected.

When you do manicure, cuticle not push too vigorously – you can injure and also there is a risk that the normal process of nail growth was compromised. Before this procedure, your hands in warm water for at least 5 minutes – cuticles will be much easier to remove such. Despite widespread idea according to which calcium supplement of nutrition has a positive effect on nail specialists found no evidence to that effect. Resist the temptation to wear excessively long nails – because dirt accumulates under the nail.
