I don’t think that there is one girl in this world who hasn’t heard about Estee Lauder. It is a company that manufactures skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products. It all started in 1946 when Joseph Lauder and his wife, Estee Lauder began producing cosmetics in New York. Ever since then the company has been growing and today it has stores all over the world as well as retail outlets. Its ‘faces’ include famous people of the world of fashion and acting, such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Hilary Rhoda.
The company has 18 brands and all of them are involved in breast cancer campaigns. They represent the first and largest corporate supporter of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Almost every people has already seen the pink ribbon that represents the fight against breast cancer but you might have not known that it was Estee Lauder’s daughter-in-law who designed the ribbon. The company has been boycotted because of political issues concerning Palestine and Israel.
One of the company’s most popular products are the lipsticks. I think that they are quite high priced, but we have to pay both for the quality and the brand. One of the most cosmetics that the company produces is the Estee Lauder Innocence Lipstick. It is also called ‘The Factory’s Naïve Lipstick’. I suppose it got its name from its color, which is a shade of light pink that really makes you think about innocence.
There are many girls and women who like this shade and on most of them it looks good. We all know that it isn’t enough to like a shade, we must make sure that it looks good o us. This might be influenced by a number of factors such as skin color, hair color, eyes color, the shape of the face and of course the rest of our makeup. I wouldn’t recommend this shape for those women whose skin is very white because it might make them look pale.
The Estee Lauder Innocence Lipstick can be purchased in their official stores or retail outlets, but also on the internet. I have seen several sites that have this lipstick on stock, among them eBay as well. Of course the safest is to order if from the official website of the company because it is guaranteed that you will get what you wanted.
During my searches I have also found a lipstick palette that contains six Estee Lauder shades: Innocence, Crystal Pink, Red Apple, Rubellite, Pure Eden and Black Wine. I think that it is very good to have such a palette because this way you have six shades in one little compact palette so you don’t have to carry around six separate lipsticks. I have to note that it is a limited edition, so if you want one, you’d better hurry to get it while you can. I also have to say that its price is affordable. The one that I have seen is about €5 which I think is very acceptable.
