Fingernail
Superstitions are present in our lives ever since we are born, sometimes we can see how they govern our lives, not because they express a truth, but because we are used to them so far that I prefer to go three steps back when a black cat crosses our path than to live with the idea that it could bring bad luck. In each area there are such superstitions, and myths that have become real must be put out of our minds.
Lately I’ve heard many myths related to fingernail, their maintenance and beautification, and so we have to expose the truth behind them:
Myth 1: If you eat gelatin, you strengthen your fingernails: It is true that the nails were in their keratin content, which is a protein like gelatin, but there was no evidence by which to demonstrate that it strengthens nails. Also, if you pour down industrial quantities of milk on the nail throat, do not expect to strengthen nails over night, because the calcium content of milk. It is good to know that for healthy fingernails, you just have to follow a balanced diet containing calcium and protein.

Myth 2: fake fingernail is bad for the health of natural nails. As long as false nails are the best quality and are applied correctly, there is nothing to fear. I just want to let you know that this depends on how properly false nails are maintained and apply cuticle oil daily. Also, do not remove the false nails more often than once a month.
Myth 3: Avoid products that have chemicals in their content. First it is an impossible thing to do, because everything on the market has cosmetic chemical content. There is no item to nails without chemicals.
Myth 4: If you put nails with nail polish in cold water, they will dry faster. To dry nail polish faster, it is necessary that the solvents evaporate. Therefore, if you want to dry quickly you should use a jet of hot air; cold water in any case will do away with the breath.
Myth 5: store nail polish in the refrigerator to extend the validity. If you enter nail polish in the refrigerator every time you use it, you will not prolong life. Conversely, if the nail polish does not expect to return to room temperature, condensed water can hurt. The safest way to renew and to avoid strengthening the lake is to make sure that close as the container immediately after use.
Myth 6: Cutting cuticles is recommended for healthy nails. What we call cuticle is actually the skin that protects our fingernail, thin strip of the fold of skin attached to the nail, cuticle is actually thin layer that covers and protects the surface epithelial cells. Cutting cuticles is not recommended, and even it is made in some beauty spas, because it makes installation infections. It is recommended, rather, to let your nails in warm water for 15 minutes and then push the cuticles easily under the skin.

Myth 7: It is better to bring your own utensils to the show to keep you from infection. We must recognize that the environment in your bag where you keep your utensils for nail maintenance, is less sanitary than the salon, where would have to meet certain strict rules in this regard. If you have doubts about how these manicure tools are maintained, simply ask your manicurist.
