Fingernail Deformities And Your Health

Fingernail deformities and your health are two concepts in great relation. Fingernails are an indicator of health, so it sufficient to take a look at them, and inform about your health. For example, here are some fingernail deformities that talk about your health:

Nail bruising or black fingernails
“Black angle” or “hematoma underneath the nail”, the medical term for this disease, is frequently encountered. It is caused by an acute injury, the right hand finger caught in a door and sharply hit with a hard object (often with a hammer).Toe must be ironing with power or being struck by a hard object that fell on it.

To translate into terms easily understood as the name of “hematoma underneath the nail”, we can say that it is in the form of bruises below the nail. Thus, like any other bruising, time will disappear. Sometimes the nail will fall because of the extraordinary damage that was subjected to, but usually grow back. When the pressure accumulated under the nail causes pain, a small hole made on the nail surface to help release the pressure and thus to relieve pain. Specialist doctor or manicurists are people that can help in this regard.

Damaged husks nail
Numerous times, husks and cuticle deteriorates even because of you – red nails, their constant “care” leading to “ragged” cuticle the clinging clothes allow infection to develop. A very aggressive manicure practiced at home may lead to the same problem.
But this is not just your fault, because cold weather, which dries the skin, or hands held too long in water can lead, in turn, damage husks around nails, they having an unaesthetic appearance. Thus, in the cold season, you better care of your nails and protect your hands with a moisturizing cream.

Your nails may suffer from an unhealthy diet, due to health problems (if you notice that your hair falls more than usual, and your nails break easily, call up an emergency physician) or because of chemical elements that get to come into contact (detergents, cleaners). That is why it is best to protect your fingernails wearing gloves when you clean the house, and not forget any of nail polish that will protect the other external damaging factors.

Infected husks
If not take care of your hands, husks around nails can break or detach, leading to infection. Although some women think that it is better to just cut them, I would recommend you use a special solution to soften them and cut them free, easy to push them to the nail. In this way you prevent any harm and will be especially sure that any infection will not threaten.  Cuticle protects the nails and their role is essential when infection attacks fingernails, providing a protective barrier against bacteria and acts as a seal between the finger and nail. Although professional advice is not to cut the cuticles as they can grow thicker and stronger, many women prefer to cut them, with the possibility that their nails look good for a few days.
