Fingernail Fungus Bar Rot

Fingernails have made the connection with our other ancestors from the early ages. Whether there is a resemblance between early neolitical men ad the men living nowadays, one may certainly see the fingernail factor. They both had this strong keratin protein part of the body. The fingernail plate served as a protective factor in the first place.





Fingernails have developed as the years passed and they came to represent more than just a protective factor. They have been viewed by the Napoleon and Cleopatra, even by the Nefertiti and Tutankamen as a thing of beauty. Then as the Hippocrates came out, he gave another view to the fingernails, providing them with the sense of being able to let someone know in case they are suffering of anything and whether something wrong may be inside their body.

Some of the disorders that the fingernails may be facing with is the bar rot. It is known as an infection that is eventually leading to cuticle or fungal infection. It is named like this as it usually happens to bartenders, as they have their hands and figernails as well, most of the times going from wet to dry, hot to cold over and over again.

How is the fingernail fungus bar rot characterized? They are characterized by red swelling around the fingernails and they as well wind up an inflamed puss filled pocket under the skin. If it is left like this it can become very painful and as well can have no longer the possibility of being healed. This could go so much as causing the fingernail to fall off for good. You may a swell risk that the blood stream would enter the fingernails and it will spread all over your toes and to the other fingers.

Besides of the fact that it is actually cheap, it can heal this thing and you can as well prevent being needed to obtain yourself from drinking alcohol due to the antibiotics consumption that you may need to intake.

If you believe that your fingernail is about to fall off and it did not so far, and you observe this in due time, it will be better if you make an appointment to the doctor and have it removed for good. If you do not do this, you will most certainly feel very much pain, until the fingernail eventually falls off. There is nothing to worry about if you have it removed for good, as they will eventually grow back on. They will grow at a peace of around 3 mm per month, therefore, they will finally grow in a term of up to six months at most. Their growth depends on various factors such as race, age, gender, climate of living, lifestyle.
