French Manicure Pen

I think that by now everybody knows what a French manicure is and how it looks, so I won’t spend any time writing about that part. The whole point is that the nails have a natural look with white tips and pink nail bed. You might have seen that there can other colors be used as well, in fact you could use any color you would like without any limitations. Although the look of the style didn’t really change over the years, the methods have change quite a bit and some products appeared that help you achieve the perfect look.

For example there is the French manicure tape that was designed to help you achieve the perfect tips that are hard to draw by hand and there are several types of bands and tapes that have different shapes this way offering more choices. These tapes can be bought together with kits that are made to facilitate the shopping for nail polishes for this style. These kits have at least three polishes: white pink (beige or nude) and a top-base coat.

There is nothing revolutionary up to now, but there is another product on the market that is quite new: the French manicure pen. Some companies realized that it would be a lot easier to polish the tips if women had something like a marker or a pen because it is a lot easier to control than the nail polish brush and it reduces the chances of smudging. These pens can be bought individually or in a kit. All you have to do it is to shake the pen while the cap is on, then remove the cap and place the pen tip o the outer top edge of the nail and start painting it. When you got the entire nail covered, put the cap beck and you are ready with the tips. If you purchased a kit then you should apply a layer of base color and then the top coat. If you prefer you could also apply a layer of clear polish for a more natural look.

I have read several reviews of French manicure pen and the truth is that the costumers were rarely satisfied with the products they have purchased. They say that the polish isn’t smooth and you shouldn’t think that this is only when you use then pen for the first time. Another problem is that the polis is transparent and you can see the nail tip through it. If you wish to apply another layer then the first layer comes up. I am not saying that these things for sure will happen with you as well, but I think that it is good to gather some information about a product before you actually buy it so that you know what to expect. I think that you should try such a pen because if it works out then it is a fast way to create a French manicure and you don’t have to be afraid about dripping anymore.
