French Manicure With Blue
French manicure is one of the oldest manicure styles known to mankind. Although it has been around for centuries I don’t think we can say that it is old-fashioned. On the contrary, it is one of the most fashionable manicure styles and unofficial statistics say that it is the most asked for style in nail salons. Over the years other variants have appeared besides the traditional style, like the Reverse French Manicure, Chevron French, Diagonal French and Marble French.
Not only did the styles change, but the colors as well. These days it is trendy to have a French manicure with other colors than the traditional white and pink combination. Let’s see for example the French manicure with blue. This style can be done in at least three different ways in case you with to match the color of your nails with the color of your dress.

The least flashy one is the one that features traditional French manicure with a blue line on the border where the pink and white meet. The most advisable thing to do is to use a metallic blue color or blue glitters, because other types of blue, like pastels don’t really fit the style. I think that since the French manicure is quite moderate it needs something to make it flashier.
Another option might be in case you wish to use blue to paint the tips blue. In this case I think that every shade and type of blue is acceptable without looking to sparkling. If you don’t choose glittery blue then you could draw a silver line on the border of the two colors. This will spice the manicure up a little but be careful not to use too much glitter because it might make the manicure look cheap.
Another very handy solution is to use two shades of blue and do as you would in case of a traditional manicure. The only thing that you have to be careful about is to use the same kinds of blue, meaning that if one of them is metallic then the other one should be metallic as well, otherwise it will look quite weird.
If none of these methods seems to be appealing to you then there are other solutions as well to create French manicure with blue. You could make a traditional French manicure and then draw some blue nail art on the nails, or buy some blue sticker and stick them. These styles look good as well and they are easy to achieve.
