Group Bath

Even if it is the middle of the working week, a bath in the pool is always a very good idea mostly in summer days when the hot air outside just makes you want to throw yourself in the perfect water of the pool. Of course, a bath in the pool is not actually a bath in the word’s basic meaning. In fact before and after it you need to have at leas quick showers, mostly if you are not having the bath in your own pool.

From the water in the pools you can even get sometimes diseases, so before going there you should definitely have those showers and avoid bathing in the pool if you are having an illness. Always avoid swallowing water from the pool while you are swimming.

The diseases that can be taken from the pool are infections caused by microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses, which have contaminated the water from the pool. The most common symptoms are diarrhea, respiratory infections, eye, ears, and nose or mostly, skin disorders. Sometimes just the simple fact that you enter in the water form the pool can cause different itching.

These diseases are determined by the fact that people do not respect some basis hygiene rules before entering the pool and they do not care about the fact that they have certain skin conditions that can be taken through the water by others. Even if the water is constantly changed and cleaned, people should consider this fact when it comes to group baths made in the public pools.

To avoid getting any disease from these types of group baths, you need to have a complete shower after getting out of the pool and a bath in the tub once you get home. Of course, this is not a guarantee that you will be safe from all diseases, but if there is not someone there that is ill, you can enjoy a good swim in the pool with no worries. Just make sure that the place where you go assures the best conditions when it comes to cleaning the water from the pool.

So, the main point you should get after reading this is that you should go for a swim every time you want but you need to take some precaution before doing so. There are certain rules that you should also respect, because they are meant for all the individuals that are using the pool, so you should not ignore them as others do. If you notice that something is wrong with the water or if it is not clean enough, don’t get in. It is better to skip a bath than to get a disease that can have very harmful effects on your skin.

This is why I always believe that if you really wish to go to a swimming pool, at least visit a decent one, even if it is a bit more expensive. It is also a good idea to take a shower right when you exit the pool, just like you mentioned in this article as well. Personally, I never go to pools as I would much rather enjoy a shower at home when I need to cool off. The only swimming pools I go to are the ones at the hotel when I book my rooms when I’m on vacation. Those swimming pools are constantly cleaned and the water is changed permanently thanks to proper devices and plumbing.
