Halloween Manicure

I am sure that everybody knows what Halloween is all about, at least in the present. You should know that the meaning has changed a lot over the years, because today it is simple fun for the children, but it has its roots at the beginning of Christianity and at that time people dressed up like scary creatures to scare off the bad spirits that might have escaped because it is said that on the night of Halloween the gates of the world of dead is open to the world of the living.

In our days everybody is preparing in another way for the holiday and it is very popular for women to polish their nails to be in conformity with the spirit of the holidays. There are some colors that are usually used to create the Halloween manicure and these include black (naturally), green, red, white and of course orange. There are some designs that are very well known and they include the most well known themes of Halloween.

The first design that I would like you to know about is the one of the pumpkin. Can you think of another thing that is so specific for Halloween? I don’t think so. This is why there are a lot of women who choose to get a pumpkin on their nails. It’s not hard to create and you need only two colors: black and orange. First polish the whole nail black and then draw the pumpkin. You could also paint some vertical lines on it to make it look like a real pumpkin.

The next design that I think you would like to know about is related to spiders. I think it isn’t hard tp draw a spider on the nails. In this case you need also a black base and then white polish. You should draw a white circle and then a smaller one near the larger one. Then all you have to do is to draw three legs and you get the perfect Halloween manicure.

Another design related to spiders is the one that involves a spider web. In this case on the black base you should draw three lines in one corner of the nail and then link them with shorter lines. You could use both designs for your nails.

The simplest designs are those that have no design, just a black or deep red nails. In case you feel like you could do more, you could also draw a black cat on the red base, but you should know that this needs some talent and some practice as well. I am sure that with time you will get it right.

The Halloween manicures that I told you about are the most popular ones but you could create your own design as well using some themes that are typical for the holidays and that the others will recognize. Naturally the manicure depends very much on the costume that you will wear because they should match a bit.
