Homemade Bath Products

In the nature we can find all the ingredients that we need to create homemade bath and body care products. Before creating humans, God left us a real God’s pharmacy containing all the plants that we need to be healthy and beautiful and all that we have to do is to gather all the information about those plants and use them properly and in combination with other plants to fully benefit of its healing and treatment powers.





In the fallowing lines, I will tell you a little bit about the natural plants dictionary that will help you know more about the plants and vegetables and its benefits and how we can make homemade bath products and body care products, only by combining among it.

Let’s start describing the plants and vegetable and its benefits in alphabetical order:

Avocado oil is a rich oil in vitamins A, B1, B2, D and A, relieves the skin problems, especially eczemas;

Beeswax is a natural component that comes form the bees and has the sweet smell of honey, wonderful properties and aromatherapy benefits, used in many bath and body care products;

Coconut oil is obtained from the dried meat of coconut, represents a vital ingredient in the contained of the handmade products and not only, because of its lending hardness and lather effect to the soap;

Dead sea salts represent a mix of unique therapeutic mineral accumulated from thousands of years. Their therapeutic effects are known from thousands of years and are known to heal and relieve the pains caused by acne, eczema, psoriasis;

Eucalyptus is a tree of approximately 100 feet high and its leaves are used to obtain the natural eucalyptus oil. It is known to be an antiseptic, decongestant, relieves the cold and flu symptoms and has astringent and anti inflammatory properties;

Glycerin is a derivate of olive oil and has the property to attract the moisture to the skin

Honey contains mineral, vitamins and amino acids that gives it moisturizing, softening and healing properties for the skin and also, has antibacterial properties;

Juniper is a thorny bush that produces brownish blackberry. The Juniper berry oil has purifying and astringent qualities;

Lemon oil has refreshing and purifying properties and has an high content of vitamin C;

Milk is a natural skin cleanser and softener and makes wonders for the skin;


Niaouli is an essential oil extracted form the leaves of this evergreen tree, it stimulates cell renewal with its antiseptic, rejuvenating and healing properties;

Olive oil is a natural medicine for our organism, and has a multitude of healing benefits, like moisturizing, softening, regenerating contains vitamins (A, B1, B2 and PP), minerals and calcium;

Peppermint has a distinctive aroma and it is known to improve concentration, relieves headaches and reduces the mental tiredness;

Rosemary is a small plant that grows near the Mediterranean Sea, it is fragrant blue flower is known to awake the mind and has uplifting and purifying qualities;

Sage is a small bush that has long leaves, the sage oil has soothing and tension relieving properties;

Tea tree oil is obtained from a tree that grows in the North America and has antibacterial, antifungal and healing properties, it is used as a natural disinfectant and deodorizer;

Vanilla is a plant that grows in the Central and South America and is used for its sweet, sensual, soothing and warm fragrance;

Ylang ylang is a tree that grows in Philippines and has greenish yellow petals long like leaves, the ylang ylang essential oil has uplifting, stimulating and balancing properties.
