Upper Lip Hair

A woman deals with many issues regarding her appearance. Using make up to hide some imperfection, waxing any many others a woman’s daily concern. But hair problem is one of the most important parts. By this I mean that hair growing on the body is a priority.

Upper lip hair appears as to men, as to women. It is normal but unpleasant. For a man hair on face is the symbol for masculinity. But for a woman it is a nightmare. Solutions are and they are various, but it is important to know all the aspects about this subject.

First of all, upper lip hair appears at the age of 15-26 to a girl and 17-18 to a boy. It is part of the puberty period. The age varies from one to another, as people are different. But if until 18 years old there is no sign then a visit to a doctor is needed. It may sound awkward, but it means that the hormones are less then necessary and the list of issues caused is various: from thyroid gland problems to behavior issues.

Apart from this, unfortunately, young people are less informed about puberty. And their first reaction is to shave the hair. For a boy it is normal, but for a girl things will get complicated later. Not only it will look more obvious every time it will grow up, but it will have a root more strong and hard to eliminate.

For a girl or a woman waxing is absolutely necessary. Most of them avoid this procedure because of the pain caused. It is normal, but there are solutions. For example, tea or a pill before the waxing procedure can help. And remember that the pain is commonly met only at the first experience. After 2 or 3 sessions there is no pain, no discomfort. Apart from this, waxing helps one get rid of upper lip hair for a long time. Almost until 3 weeks with no worries, in comparison with shaving that lasts no more then a couple of days.

Waxing the upper lip hair has also results on long term, as the hair will be smooth and easy to remove, and almost unseen. Besides this, laser procedure is also much spread. It costs more but one eliminated hair problem at all.

No matter your option it must be done, if it is for the first time, to a cosmetic cabinet. Trying at home to wax your upper lip hair means a stressful work, time consumer and doubtful results.

All things considered, upper lip hair is a total discomfort and for a woman/girl appearance. But there are solutions that on long terms will ease your work, your concern and pain.

I have always wanted to get my facial hair removed with lasers but someone said this process is quite expensive. I generally use waxing bands and I have been using them for 5 years and I still cannot get accustomed with the pain. I am looking for a less painful methods but I can’t use a razor either because I hear that your hair will grow a lot faster and thicker and God knows that no girl wants thick hair on her face. Do you guys know of any other painless methods that I could try? Any advice is welcome!
