How to make feather earrings

In the dawn of humanity, the first earrings, all, at least, what resembled about it, consisted of rings suspended on the ears. Already very appreciated by our ancestors, the loops took various forms and saw themselves decorated with colored stones, a model of loops that one will find more largely in all the southern part of current Europe. In our days, the earrings constitute a real accessory of beauty and they are much appreciated. They can be made up of various matters and do not know any limit in their realization, if it is not the imagination of their originator.

Many persons like to manufacture their own jewels or they wish a simple and funny activity for their children. No matter if you are a jewelery designer, a mom or a kindergarten instructor, this activity will give you the occasion to exert your sense of colors, by creating jewels to be worn or offered! If you enjoy this activity, nothing can stop you from creating many ornaments: bracelets, pendants, diadems, earrings…

Feather earrings are soft, light, gracious and pleasant to wear. The feathers colours are sharp and brilliant. The feather earrings are a unique and original jewel. The feather jewels are still the stars of the summer and some of the most fancy fantasy jewels. The feather is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

Here is a simple method of manufacturing feather earrings.
-red clay
-very fine brass wire
-pearls of rubble
-gilded paper
-adhesive
- scissors
-some colored feathers

Stages of creation:
Start by creating the hooks to  hang the loops with the ears. Made a round with the brass wire in the lower part of the “fish hook”.
-With the clay, make a small square directly on the round. The round must be in the square. Once it is made, insert some pearls of rubble on the face that will be the front of  the earring.
-Then, take some feathers and  make a small “bouquet”; stick it to the back of your square.
-In order to avoid an unpleasant look, hide the joining with a small pearl

Tips:
Once dry, you can varnish your earrings. Obviously, except of the feathers
-Be careful with the allergies  for those that do not support the fake!
-Remember that feather earrings  are in top during this summer. They are a good alternative for the vacation jewelleries and they go very well with beachwear or with a sheer dress.
-Long feather earrings are suitable for a long neck woman

If you are not a very handy person, you can buy different types of feather earrings or feather jewelery. The prices vary from a few euros up to about 40 euros, depending on the type of materials and on the design. Some of the most beautiful fantasy earrings are those made of  peacock feathers. Black feathers are also an elegant alternative.
