Ideas for black manicures

There are some very conservative people who still think that black is the color of mourning, when in fact it is a very elegant color and in the same time it is also very versatile meaning that there are a lot of uses for it and you can wear it on any occasion.

When most people hear about black manicures they think about subcultures like goth, rock, metal or emo. It is true that those who like these often polish their nails black, but you should also know that in this period black is a very fashionable and trendy color and you can see it more and more often on the runways.

There are many methods to create black manicures and only your creativity might limit you. I think the easiest way to do it is to polish the whole nail black and you’re done. In case you would like something more elaborate you could think of a special design. In case it isn’t enough for you to have the black base you could make some drawings on your black base with another polish.

Silver and gold look very nice with black, but you could use other colors as well. It might be a good idea to use metallic colors because the others are hard to see on a black base. You could simply draw lines or some forms, like hearts, flowers, paws, and so on.

Another thing you could try is black French manicure. You could get this done by polishing the tips black and leaving the rest of the nail bear. You could also polish the rest of the nail with another color, like nude for traditional French polish or any other color of your choice. You could also to it the other way around: polish the nail bed black and the tip with another color. A traditional combination is the black and white one, meaning that the tips are white and the nail bed black.

You could also create a black manicure by creating a traditional French manicure and then drawing some nail art with black. These designs look amazing and they are quite easy to create. You can draw nail art not only in case of French manicure, but any other manicure as well.

You might see that there are numerous ways to create black manicures and all you need is a little time, creativity and naturally, the tools and supplies that you might need. In case you wish to create nail art you will need a thin brush to do a nice job. You can buy these brushes separately, but there are some nail polished that come with such thin brushes.

My opinion is that it is fun to try new styles and designs and this is why I am trying to create a new design every time I do my nails. I don’t like the routine and this is a very easy way to make a change. Although you might think that the others don’t observe it, they do.
