Information about vented manicure table

I think you see things very differently if you are the costumer n a manicure salon, but if you are working there or if you own the place, then you might see the things from a different point of view. For the customers the furniture in the salon is only for decoration, but from the employee’s pont of view they must be practical and usable because in most cases everything has a very well defined purpose and they have to fulfill that purpose.

I think one of the most important things in the manicure salon is the manicure table.

Of course I know that there are some salons that don’t use a table but in most cases the manicurists are working at tables and it is a lot more comfortable for them this way. There are a lot of things that are important about a table and it think the most important is the shape and size. It must be comfortable for the manicurist. It should be high enough so that the manicurist will be able to sit straight, otherwise she might get some horrible back pain. Naturally the chair can be fitted according to the height of the table.



Another important feature of the table is the leg room. If there isn’t enough of it then the manicurist won’t sit comfortably and she might get swollen feet. This is something very unpleasant and it is better to avoid it. You should also think about the customer and her comfort and so the table should be big enough for four feet to fit under it.

There are some more special features of the tables as well, like the drawers and the lockers. These are great to keep some tools and equipment in them that the manicurist doesn’t have to use that often or to store some personal items. They also help of keep the top of the desk ordinate because if there are too many things on it then it doesn’t look good at all. There are also some tables available that have selves on them that allow the manicurist to store nail polishes on the desk.

There are also some optional features available, like the vent. This is used to trap the dust and fumes that might get into the air while creating a manicure. The vented manicure table is usually more expensive than the other ones, but I think that it is worth to have it because it is better to trap the dust and fumes into the vent than in the lungs of the manicurist and the customer.

Naturally you don’t necessarily need it if the salon is well vented. Beginner manicurists don’t really need a vented manicure table but those that have got a lot of work might really use it to protect their health and the health of the costumers.

In case you already have a table you can get a vent installed later if you feel like you need it and yu can afford it.
