First you should do your manicure: shape and file the nails, treat the cuticles, and buff if you want to. Once this layer has dried you should stick on the guides, but make sure you stick them well so that no nail polish is able to get under them. Then polish the tips with the white polish and then wait a bit for the tips to dry. You should be careful when you remove the guides, because if you don’t wait enough the polish might get smeared when you remove the guides or the guides might peel off the polish if you wait too long.

After you remove the guides you just have to apply a layer of the other color over the entire nail and then wait for this layer to dry. When it has dried you should apply a layer of top coat on the nails to protect the manicure. It might be a good idea to apply a layer of top coat every day to make the manicure last longer than usual.
