Ingrown Fingernail
Apparently a minor health problem, ingrown fingernail may go unnoticed in early stages of its evolution. But the appearance of infection, a high nail in meat can cause great pain, unbearable even to the slightest touch. Ingrown nail is caused by high angle lateral edges of the nail in the soft tissues around it. The most often affected are toenails, especially nails thumbs. So be careful when choosing your shoes, sandals or boots, and also give great importance to manicure and pedicure.
Signs of a ingrown fingernail are:
- Finger affected by increasing temperature;
- Pain;
- Leakage of pus infection;
- Redness and swelling of the finger.

Risks of ingrown fingernail increase if:
- You have diabetes;
- You have traffic problems in the extremities;
- The edges of your nails are naturally curved inwards;
- Wear fixed shoes;
- You have very thick nails;
- You are overweight.

What can you do to prevent the ingrown nail? First of all make sure to wear shoes that do not collect and is of good quality. Second, foot hygiene is important. You need to cut your nails regularly, without being cut too short. Persons with diabetes or blood circulation problems need medical advice in terms of cutting and nail care, because the risk of complications is quite high.
What are the long-term effects? An ingrown fingernail can be very painful, but more worrying long term is a possible infection. And when a person suffers from diabetes or circulatory problems, infections can be quite serious.

How is it treated? Remove pieces of grown meat in the resort to minor surgery. Place special devices where the extraction has been made, in order to prevent the nail to grow further in the same position. See a doctor if infection is still present. The most difficult is for those whose nails are prone to ingrown in meat. In such cases embodiment nail recur and more difficult to prevent. A new method of treating and preventing ingrown fingernail is the application of thin wire metal on the nail that helps to fix and correct the direction of nail growth, without needing surgery.
For those who have such problems I propose the following solution.
1. Cut a little V in the middle of the nail to relieve pressure on the extremities.
2. Soak your nail in warm water with salt.
3. And now the most interesting part: File the entire nail surface with an efficient file. You need to continue with this procedure in the next days, to make the nail as thin as you support. Over several days you will feel that the pain disappears. Do not cut your nail in any way. Let it grow. Wait it out around the outside, because then you will have to cut it square, not round. Filing the surface nail, its growth is modified and then the nail tends to cover part of the tipsy side.
