Lip Piercings
People take all sorts of crazy decisions that may regret later. This happens all the time. So, if you take into consideration the idea of having Lip Piercings I definitively advice you to think twice before taking a final decision. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to regret it later. I’m sure you see every day all sorts of people that have pierced their lips but that doesn’t necessary mean you’ll have to include in this category. If you want to be different you don’t necessary have to appeal to this solution. Just think at all the disadvantages of having Lip Piercings and than take the final decision. If you think you can stand all those disadvantages you can pierce your lip.
So, why don’t we just see what Lip Piercings are? What could they be if not a type of body piercing that penetrates the lips or the area surrounding the lips? Only the thought you’ll remain for good with a hole into your lip should make you reconsider your idea. Can you imagine yourself, as a future respectable judge with a hole into his lip? One can never know what the future can bring us and I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to be misjudged by the ones who surround you.
This is the risk all of you are submitted to if you take the decision of having your lip pierced. If I haven’t convinced you not to do this step you should think at all the dangers of having your lip pieced. If this doesn’t convince you I don’t know what could do the trick. More and more teenagers are seduced by these lip piercings and they take the decision of having their lip pierced without thinking at all the dangers they are submitted to. They have not just one lip piercing but two or even three Lip Piercings. This is the best way they find to express themselves.
Our mouth is without any doubt one of the most sensitive parts of the human body so we’ll have to be very careful. There are people who have pierced their lips for years and didn’t suffer but that doesn’t mean the same thing will happen to you. Now matter if this is or not the best decision you’ll ever do, go to a specialist in order to reduce all the risks. You can be the perfect infections victim. This is what could happen if you won’t appeal to a specialist.
Maybe the person you’ve appealed to hasn’t used disinfected piercing tools. Having infections is just one of those secondary effects. It’s one of those secondary effects. So, before having your lip pierced you should know very well into what you’re getting into. Obtain all the possible information that can help you decide. Obtain the information that may help you decide piercing or not your lip. If you understand all the risks you are submitted to you may not take the decision of piercing your mouth. Think at your health before taking one such serious decision.

What is wrong with you? Are you one of the many people out in this world that put judgement on others for what they do or have on their body? If not, this article sure makes it seem that way. Why are you only against lip piercing? I mean seriously? There are many piercings out there that “look” much worse than the lip. This is such a “negative nancy” site and it just infuriates me reading this. I think with any site there should be negatives AND positives atleast so you don’t make people who have already made the decision or people that are making it feel like they are idiots! I know that last sentence sounded somewhat wrong or one sided, but everyone has their right to their own opinion, and i believe that you are looking at things in the wrong light. IDK maybe it’s just be but it seems to me like you have a very narrow outlook on things, and after this article it has turned me off on reading anything else you might put out there.
I was thinking of getting one, but you tottaly convinced me otherwise, i dont know if i should thank you, or hate on you but either way your the reason im not getting one.
Agree with Ryan, I was actually searching for Aftercare on lip piercings and came across this. People are searching to get information on piercings and you’re just leaving negative comments.. If you create a site dont be biased on what YOU think, think about what other people want to read.. (Information, help, POSITIVE things aswel as negative) .. Well im gettin my lip pierced.. tomorrow. Thanx for the advise but i shall not be taking it.
First of all, if you’re going to have a website, learn some proper grammar. Second, I am thinking about getting my lip pierced and this…didn’t change my mind! You need to let people decide for themselves. And if you’re going to be a “futre respectable judge”, you can always take the ring out! HORRIBLE INFORMATION!

whoever wrote this, doesn’t know the first thing about piercings.
it’s NOT like a tattoo, where it’s there forever. you can TAKE IT OUT, and it will close up. yeah it may leave a scar, depending on the piercing, your skin, the way it healed, how big the hole was… but not much of a scar you should worry about AT ALL.
i’ve had my lip piercing for about 5 months now, and out of my 11 other ones, it’s my fave. i did my other side today, because i love my lip piercing so much ^^
Lip piercings DO NOT get infected easily, AT ALL! you’re better off with a lip piercing rather than an ear piercing, infection wise. your mouth has a natural defense system against bacteria, so unless you don’t own a toothbrush? you probably won’t get infected, if you clean it properly.
I think this is pretty ridiculous.
The article gives plenty space to saying its a bad decision and what not, but no real reason other than its a ‘sensitive place’ and you can possibly get infections.
I’m still getting one.

ummm did you guys not read this? the person is warning you about the affect it has on your life not telling you not to do it, advising maybe but not telling. i want to get my lip pierced and still do all that has changed is that im sure im going to wait until i can get it done professionally instead of having my boyfriend or friend do it. so don’t get but hurt reading this if you have a lip piercing cuz they didnt say lip piercings are EVIL or stupid or your dumb to have one.
I have a lip peircing and can honestly say I love it, even though I’m only seventeen. I actually have spider bites (two on one side of my lip) and yeah, they get infected easily, especially during the summer. But they aren’t dangerous and if I take them out there won’t be holes forever. Its the same thing as peircing your ear, the holes will close up but you might have a tiny little scar that can be covered. This post is actually really biased. I understand warning people, but the effects of getting your lip peirced aren’t nearly as dangerous as getting a surface peircing that can reject. Try re-wording it a little and state some good things about getting your lip peirced. I know I won’t have my rings in my life for my whole life, but I love them now and I’m still planning on getting more peircings.

but yes dont be a HITLER let people be free, u only live once & honestly if your into tatts & piercings your prolly not gonna be a judge SMART ASS !! – get off yourself.. your just jealous, yea im scared of a scar too, but im gonna take good care of it & my face & skin heal really well.. so everyone just remember just like everything else in life tatts , piercings, sex, – etc… you make the descision & you deal w/your aftermath. its life.. JUST DO WHAT MAKES U HAPPY!!!! NOT BEING U MIGHT HURT YOU WORSE THAN ANYTHING ELSE…
