Lip tattoo healing

Tattoos or body painting are an art. It is the professionalism and creative side that puts value on it. There many reasons for one to recur to a tattoo, but for lips tattoo only women seems to have it. They are a sort of a permanent or semi permanent make up that helps them save time and money invested in cosmetics. It seems to be the perfect option but it involves some risks and a complex healing process.

Lip tattoo healing depends first of all on several aspects. If it is a permanent tattoo it means that the procedure is made using anesthesia as one has its deepest layers of skin perforated with little needles in order to instill the pigments. In this case, it is indicated to drink as much as possible lots of liquids, in order to eliminate faster the anesthesia. It can take from one to 2 weeks. Beside this one will have to take some sedatives, as the anesthesia has side effects such as vomit feeling, head aches and dizziness.

If it is a semi permanent lip tattoo than anesthesia it is not required. Hence, the pain will be present, so that in the first days after one will need some sedatives. Apart from this, a local compress will help you ease the pain and reduce the swollen lips sensation.

Lip tattoo healing depends also on each and every person. Each one has its own reactions. Some may have just swollen lips, some may feel nausea because of the substances used on their lips. No matter what the general indications is to avoid harming the lip skin by forcing them. For example, eating solid food for a couple of days is prohibited. Also, sun exposure or extreme weather conditions: wind, high temperatures, cold weather. These make your lips form some crusts and the healing process will take longer and longer. And not even thinking to tear them off, as you will take a turn for the worse.

Furthermore, kissing is another aspect which must be avoided. First I believe that even if you want you can not do it, as the lips are swollen and the pain still exists.

Moreover, lip tattoo healing will be a faster process if one pays attention to its hygiene. In other words, avoid any infection. And to do so one has to clean its lips with disinfected substances, such as iodine, to touch its lips only after washing them, to eat washed fruits and so on. Also, a daily cream prescribed by the specialist is needed.

To sum up, lip tattoo healing involves some patience as one can not have its so desired look of lips so soon, attention to its hygiene and life style, in order to avoid any complication of the situation and consequently, a too long healing process.
