Little Sister Bath
Many parents when they have a second baby girl ask for the big sister help. If the girls are at a very close age form each other it may not work, and not only because the big sister is not old enough to take care of her little sister, but because they might not get along very good because of her jealousy on the little one.
However, many parents think it is a good idea to let their daughter take the little sister bath. They actually take the bath together and they can play while having a bath. This can be fun for the two little girls, but you have to be extra careful, because you have to take care of two children, not only one child.
There are many toys that can entertain your kids while they are having a bath. And if you have two little girls, it will really nice for you to do this work quicker than it would be done if you took the children baths separately.
The little sister bath can also be the older one responsibility. She will learn this way that she has to take care of her baby sister, and that she can do something to help her mother. The same thing can be done if you are having an older son, not daughter. He can also like taking care of his little sister, and he will do so all of his life, and who does not want an older brother to watch her back. Some habits can be learned by children form their childhood and responsibility is one of them.
However, if you are having two children that have similar ages, you can not let them without supervision. It will be harder for you to take care of two kids instead of one, but it is not impossible. The little sister bath can be done by having the other child in the bathroom too, and reading them a story. They can still play and if they are two or three years old you can bath them together because they are old enough to ask for your help if something is wrong.
Taking the child bath is not as easy as it may seem. You have to watch him all the time and if he does not like water at all, it can be really hard for you until he stats having fun playing in the bath. Things are actually more complicated if you have another child who also needs you attention. This is another reason why some parents decide to take their children bath together. It is a very good way to save time and to watch your children while playing together.
