Manicure Kits

There are some people who make confusion between the terms of manicure sets and manicure kits. As far as I know the manicure sets are those that include manicure tools like scissors, files and so on, and the manicure kits are those that have some special parts. Such manicure kits are those sets that include electronic manicure equipment or that includes several polishes that are meant to create a certain manicure style.

I think that the most well known manicure kits are the French manicure kits. The most simple ones include two nail polishes. Usually one of them is white that you should use to polish the tips of the nails and the color of the other polish may vary. The most popular colors are pink, beige and nude and these are the colors that most kits have. The more elaborate ones might also include a top coat and a base coat. Some contain a polish that can be used both as base and top coat. Still I like those more that have them separately because according to my opinion they are better. The larger sets might also contain emery boards and so you have everything you need for a manicure in the same box. Another popular features of the manicure kits are the nail stripes or guides, or whatever you want to call them. These are the little stickers that you should stick on the nails to create the perfect smile lines.



Another type of manicure kit is also meant to help you create a French manicure but these kits instead of polishes, contain manicure pens. These also have some kind of polish but it is said that once you get the hang of it, they are a lot easier to use. In most of the cases these manicure kits are more expensive than the traditional ones due to the new technology that they use.

The manicure kits that have an electronic gadget most of the times include a storage case, the handle that you will keep in your hand and that you will need batteries for in case it is a cordless one, attachments (shaping disks that are fine and coarse) and also a nail drier. You might think that these sets are expensive, but you can get them for about $20 and I think that it is a quite low price.

Naturally nobody says that you must purchase a manicure kit to get the perfect nails. You could also buy the items individually and make up your own manicure kit. The advantage of the kits is that they are created by professionals and it is very unlikely to happen that the polishes that you buy do not match or that they won’t provide you with the desired results. The price of the kits may vary depending on the brand of the product and the manufacturer, but most of them have acceptable prices given that they are of good quality and they save you a lot of money.
