Manicure Stations
I am sure that everybody who has ever been to a manicure salon has seen manicure stations and if they look at it from the point of view of the costumer, they might not realize how important it is for the business to have the right manicure stations. Today more and more nail salons get opened and sadly most of the times business owners forget about the fact that the manicure stations they have send a message to the costumers who come in. They should be right for the style of the salon and also they should be right for the manicurists to be able to work comfortably.
The definition of a manicure station might be the following: It is an area set up for performing nail services. It has a base that has two pivot arms so they can be set in a way that is comfortable both for the client and the manicurist. In our days it is a trend to plump up the manicure stations with furniture that is right in style with the rest of the equipment and decoration.
The first things you should be thinking about as a business owner are the chairs both from a materialistic point of view and the point of view of the client who should be comfortable during the manicure session. The most popular chairs at the moment are those that have leather back because they are stylish, elegant and comfortable, but you might choose any other style you’d like.

When buying manicure stations you should also think about the fact that the more expensive equipment you buy and the trendier the salon will look, the customers will have more to pay and this is true on the other way around as well: if you buy cheaper stations, the customers will have to pay less. My personal opinion is that for starters you shouldn’t buy expensive stations to be able to keep your prices low until the salon gains popularity.
According to professionals working in this field it is best for each manicure station to have its own independent quota of supplies, to have its own manicure tools and nail care products. There should be enough space to store these items in an ordinate way and owners shouldn’t forget about lighting either, because if the manicurist does not have enough light, she might hurt the client or herself.

Sinks are another feature that is very useful. Although it might be soluble for more stations to share a sink, it is better for each station to have its own because it is to work for the manicurist. Mirrors might also be added, but in case of manicures I don’t think that they are the most important decoration since everybody can see his or her own nails without a mirror.
I really hope that I have helped regarding manicure stations and if you are a business owner you might want to consider the things that I said about how to choose manicure stations.
