I am perfectly convinced that there isn’t one woman on the face of Earth who hasn’t heard about Max Factor. Even so Most of the people don’t know too much about it, so let me tell you a little something about it. Max Factor is a cosmetics company that was founded in 1909 by a Polish-Jewish cosmetician artist caller Maximilian Faktorowitz. I am sure that at this point you know where the name came from.

During the golden years of Hollywood the brand Max Factor was associated with film making and it is interesting to know that the term ‘makeup’ was invented by him. After Max Factor’s death the company was take over by his immediate family but after a while they deceased as well and the brand was owned by different companies (for example by Revlon) until 1991 when Procter & Gamble Co. bought it and at this moment they still own it.

The history lesson is over, so let’s talk about the cosmetics. Over the years Max Factor has had many popular lines, one of them being Color Perfection. It is said that these lipsticks have a smooth, gel-based formula, containing micro-layers of pigment. Layer after layer is revealed, keeping your color fresh and flawless for hours. It is also said that it moisturizes the lips so they will look even shinier. One of the most popular shades is Max Factor Perfection Lipstick Petal. Petal has a pinkish color, but not that usual baby pink, this one is a rather mature pink. It has a bit of red in it, without becoming aggressive.

These lipsticks can be bought in most of the beauty shops. If you don’t want to go to a shop, it is easy to buy it online. You can order it from the company’s official website or from other websites such as eBay or Amazon. If you buy from such websites toy should make sure that the product is still new, that it wasn’t used before by checking that it has the original package. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t order from such websites, I’m just saying that it is better to be careful than to have regrets later.

Max Factor Perfection Lipstick Petal is advantageous for almost any woman regardless the skin color or the hair color (even so I suggest to be careful if you have white skin and darker hair because it might make you look a little pale). Nevertheless I wouldn’t recommend it to older women, because instead of making them look younger, it might make them look older, because it is a quite ‘fresh’ color and it might contrast the image suggested by the lipstick with the real person’s image.

We all know that the cosmetics produced by Max Factor are good quality so i don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t get one of these lipstick-s, even if you don’t like Petal or if it doesn’t look good on you i am sure that you will find something that will suite you.
