Fingernails, they way they are preserved, I mean the manicure is one’s label. You gesticulate, you shake hands, you wave, you work and so it is impossible to hide them. And to avoid any embarrassing moment a daily nails care is required. For a woman thongs are less complicated as they polish them frequently. But how about when the things are gone to extreme? Have you ever seen any men painting their fingernails? Odd, awkward, strange, call it as you want but they recur to this. And it is a true fact.


First of all, men painting their nails are not a totally queer fact. Of course, I am not refereeing to nail polish, colored ones. It is all about a colorless nail polish, aimed to make them shine. And still, not each and every man in this world recurs to this. This is especially characteristic for those who are models. When cat walking they must be impeccable and their nails look should be too.

Apart from this situation, men painting their fingernails are those who are part of a group. Especially a commonly met situation among teenagers, as a way of showing their youth eccentricity they recur to dark colors, and most to black nail polish. This is in fact a new tendency among them, as a distinctive “sign” for emo groups.

Going further, on thins gone to extreme, travestits are also included in this category. In fact they are men as sexual origin. But because they want to change their sex and look as a female they copy the whole women style, including nails polished. Indeed, you do not see this every day, but they exist, as dualist persons.

A threat to their masculinity may be the write definition for men conception regarding painted fingernails painted. But not everyone believes so. Gay ones are totally on women sides. So, as you can see, men are not reticent when it comes about manicure. Not even when it comes about nail polish.

My humble opinion is that all is related to faith. Yes, due to the fact that nowadays society has become one with no moral conceptions, no limits. It is true that people change and their lifestyle too. But God let on this earth a woman to be a woman and a man to be a man. Why forcing this thing and wanting to be something else? As women do not act and copy a man style the reverse order should exist also. No judgments, but my opinion. So, men painting their fingernails are part of this new world, an eccentric fact that many considers to be part of the fancy and art world. Is it so? If we speak about models it may be, otherwise it is just about…nonsense?!
