The trend of this year is to get an old hairstyle, but spice it up with a little change.

One of the trendy men’s hairstyles this year is the fringe. This style was popular last year as well, but while last year the hair length was close to the eyebrow, this year there are more possibilities. The length may vary so that every man can find the one that is the most suitable for him.

The truth is that the side swept fringe has more potential this year than the cropped fringe. What professionals recommend is to have a fringe at brow length with texture. When having a fringe the best thing you could do is to straighten it if you don’t have natural straight hair. The longer fringe is called „Caesar cut’ because the Roman emperor could often be spotted having such a hairstyle. It is also known as the ’George Clooney cut’ because we can say that this hairstyle has become a kind of signature look for him.

The next hairstyle that I am going to write about is the Slick Back that was also inspired by the style of George Clooney. This is considered to be a classic men’s hairstyle and this year is all about going back to the classics and recreating them. Some might consider this style a little too classic but professionals say that it will have big success in the States, although outside the country people will be more reluctant about it. It really matters in this case whether your hair is straight or wavy.

If you have straight hair you should get a longer cut on the top. Otherwise you should have the hair cut shorter on the top so that the waves won’t be too visible. In both cases the hair on the sides should be short. If your hair is nor straight or wavy you might want to ask the opinion of your stylist but chances are that you will have to spend a lot of time in front of a mirror. If you have one of the hair types I mentioned, your work will be easy to style the hair because all you have to do is to use some products to slick the hair back towards one side. It is advisable to try both sides and see which one looks better.

There are many other trendy hairstyles this year and there are some that are always fashionable and very easy to maintain like the buzz cut. You don’t really have to follow the trends that other people set up, you should get a hairstyle that looks good and that you feel comfortable with.
