Photos Of Men With French Manicure

I think that we all got used to the fact that in our days everything is possible and that we don’t have to wonder no matter what we see, hear or experience in any other way. Today’s people have seen it all before and I believe that there aren’t many that still are unheard of.



It might have happened that you were surfing on the internet, looking at some photos and at one point you spotted something not really new, but still quite unusual. Yes, there are a lot of photos of men with French manicure. I know that at first it sounds rather intriguing, but if you come to think of it, it isn’t that interesting at all.

If we go back a couple of centuries we find that in the eighteenth century the French royalty had their nails done by servants. This is how the style got his name. So why would it be shocking in our times if it was accepted back then (and we have to note that the people were a lot more conservative than in our times).

Many people associate men’s manicures with gay societies, but in fact one has nothing to do with the other. It is true that there are many gay people especially in Europe who like to have French manicure, but if a man has a French manicure that doesn’t necessarily meant that he is gay and vice versa: a gay person doesn’t necessarily have to have French manicure.

Most people say that most men aren’t neat or clean enough and they would like them to change this, but if a man has French manicure most of the people are shocked, although this only mean that he cares about his looks and that he is taking care of himself, he is neat. Imagine a situation when you have to shake hands with a man who has dirty hands and nail. Wouldn’t you prefer him to have French manicure instead? I agree that it isn’t traditional at all and some people say that it is girly to have nail polish and men should have manly hands, but I think that if one likes something nothing should stop him to do as he pleases.

If we consider that at one point women weren’t allowed to wear nail polish and those who did were despised by society, we can say that human kind has made big progress. I don’t think that these progresses will ever stop. They might slow down a bit, but they never will completely stop. This is just how we are: when something new appears we are quite moderate about accepting it, but with time we get used to new things and after a while they become natural. My opinion is that the same thing will happen in the case of French manicure as well and in a short time’s period nobody will be surprised to find photos of men with French manicure, it will be as natural as in the case of women.
