Lips are kissable, lips are attractive. And besides this they become as one’s label regarding the facial appearance. According to a recent poll most of the men who took part of this, almost 70 % said that lips are the center of attraction. In other words, lips reveal one’s sex appeal. But unfortunate lips face medical issues also. And when this happens not only the facial appearance but one’s self esteem is harmed. But in order to cure, one has to know everything about the disease and a better informed person can avoid many situations.

One of the most unpleasant situations is when blisters appear on lips. But things get complicated when we speak about pink bumps on lips. They can hide various causes and so, various malfunctions regarding one’s state of health.

What are these pink bumps? First of all, they appear suddenly. In many cases they are confound with herpes, as the area turns into a colored spot and part of the lips get swollen. But actually these two have nothing in common.

Pink bumps on lips can have several causes. Some of them are known, some of them are still a question mark. But usually such bumps are related to an allergic reaction. For example, if you ate something you did not know you are allergic to the first reaction is bumps on your lips and probably others sores on your belly. Besides this, such bumps appear also because of the use of some cosmetic products. It also may be an allergic reaction or just something that your body does not agree with.



Lips bumps are also specific for a dental decay. Because of an abscess the whole gum gets swollen and the infection tends to extend as much as possible. Depending on the “location” of your abscess little bumps appear also on lips. In some cases they extend so much until one has a whole swollen face. In this situation antibiotics are a must and in case the abscess is severe and leads to a situation similar to the one above then one will have to suffer a surgical operation: the abscess is cut and so, the pus is eliminated.

Going further, bumps on lips are also characteristic as a reaction after one recurs to a lip piercing. The lip skin is perforated and there is a possibility for pus to appear. And because it is under the skin the lips it will take a long period to burst forth. Until then, pink bumps on lips will appear.

So, all things considered, as you can see, bumps on lips appear because of several aspects. It depends on each one’s case but usually they indicate a possible infection. And being so, antibiotics are the only proper treatment.
