Lips are kissable, lips are attractive. And besides this they become as one’s label regarding the facial appearance. Lips bumps are also specific for a dental decay. Because of an abscess the whole gum gets swollen and the infection tends to extend as much as possible. Depending on the “location” of your abscess little bumps appear also on lips. In some cases they extend so much until one has a whole swollen face. In this situation antibiotics are a must and in case the abscess is severe and leads to a situation similar to the one above then one will have to suffer a surgical operation: the abscess is cut and so, the pus is eliminated.

Going further, bumps on lips are also characteristic as a reaction after one recurs to a lip piercing. The lip skin is perforated and there is a possibility for pus to appear. And because it is under the skin the lips it will take a long period to burst forth. Until then, pink bumps on lips will appear.

So, all things considered, as you can see, bumps on lips appear because of several aspects. It depends on each one’s case but usually they indicate a possible infection. And being so, antibiotics are the only proper treatment.
