I am absolutely sure that there isn’t one person in the world that didn’t hear about punk rock. Although this isn’t something new, since is developed between 1974 and 1976 it still has adepts in the whole world. It has its roots in garage rock and it was born on the United Kingdom, USA and Australia. It is not only a rock genre; it has created a whole culture that comes with its own habits, attitude and trends both for clothing and for hairstyles.

Punk rock hairstyles have become a great way to express the personality and the way punk rockers see the world. Most people care about what the others think about him or her, but these young people don’t really care about social conventions and they use their hair to express this. These hairstyles are often thought to be outrageous and shocking, but they are accepted because over time the whole subculture got accepted by society.

These hairstyles aren’t for everybody, but the truth is that they are trendy and this is why some people have them although they have nothing to do with the subculture. Most of the adepts of punk rock are young people who wish to be free from all the rules and they feel like they don’t need to fit in. By some punk is said to be the anti-thesis of fashion. Thee hairstyle have been around for over 30 years and instead of getting old-fashioned, even more people decice to go punk, and i think that it is hard to imagine a businesswoman getting such a hairstyle. This is why we say that in life everything might happen: more and more businesswomen get such hairstyles. Naturally not in that wild way, but still, they are punk rock hairstyles.

Just as in any other case the hairstyles have three features: style, cut and color. The hairstyle and the cut should ne original and creative and so should be the color. Most of the times the base color is dark, black or dark brown and highlights are created using shocking colors. Many times we can see punkers with blond highlights. Although some people might think that these trends are available only for girls, the truth is that guys have very similar styles when it comes to punk rock hairstyles.

I feel like only those people should have these hairstyles that are really into punk rock, otherwise there is no sense in it, but if you like the style you might get something similar.
