Remedy For A Fat Lip

Your lip may get fat if it suffers damages due to injury, piercing, bee sting or any insect bites, coldness or cut. It also can appear when you are allergic to an insect bite. In any case your lips are going to change their color, but don’t be afraid because it is a normal reaction. 2 A mix with butter and honey will help you a lot. Your wound will heal quickly thanks to this treatment. If you don’t have butter you can use castor oil for the same result. This treatment you can do it at home two or three times a day.

3 A natural remedy: if you don’t know how to treat a fat lip you can let nature to help you. Aloe Vera and tea tree oil are some of the best solutions. You can apply this two or three times a day and it will hurry the healing process. Other solutions are: arnica oil, vitamin E, turmeric (is a very good antiseptic), powdered gooseberry bark mixed with honey or turmeric powder mixed with glycerin. All these treatment and mixtures have their properties that can help you to heal fat lips. A very good treatment is also: peppermint or lavender mixed with coconut, sunflower, pumpkin seed oil or olive oil. I am sure that one of these solutions is good for your problem.

4 Medical unguents like Carmex or Blistex are also beneficial for fat lips. Neosporin is very useful for the wounds around the lips. Other unguents like Vaseline or petroleum jelly will protect you from infection and will stop the cut to get worse.

5 You could consider using warm water salt solution if you have a cut inside the lip. The key of this treatment is that the salt in the solution will cure the injured area. When you will apply the salt solution will have an unpleasant feeling but I can say you that will worth the displeasure.

Even if fat lips are a common problem there are no magic treatments. I am sure that one of these remedies will help you to reduce the pain and get out of swelling.
