We all know that French manicure is one of the most popular manicure styles of our days and we all know that it has been around for a long time now. The main characteristic is the same: to use two different colors for the same manicure.

The reverse French manicure is a very good way to spice your manicure up and it is in the same time very elegant. I think you know that the traditional French manicure consists of white tips and pink nail beds. Contrary to this, the classic reverse French manicure the things are the other way around: the nail bed is polished white while the tips have another color. The rest of the nail bed can be polished with any color that you would like. This style looks just like a colorful stripe has been drawn in the middle of the nail. This style is very popular both on the runways and in real life as well.

The colors that are used for the reverse French manicure are more vivid than you might imagine based on your knowledge about classic French manicure. The most popular color is black but there are a lot of women who prefer brown instead. You might have heard that there is a new rule in the world of fashion according to which the brown is the ‘new black’. Actually you could create this style using any color that you would like and you would still get it right. This might be a great opportunity to express your creativity and to let your personality show up in your manicure.
