Scene Hairstyles
If you are new to the hairstyle trends then you might have not heard about scene hairstyles. I am sure that you have seen girls having long hair that is tease and colored to have different colors. I think that this is the essence of these hairstyles. Those who are considered to be professionals say that the hairstyle is determined by the one wears it. Somebody might have a scene hairstyle if she doesn’t have a scene personality, nobody will observe it.
One very typical characteristic of the scene persons is that they are constantly changing their hairstyle. It is said that it’s easy to determine whether somebody is scene-ster or not simply by asking one short question: ’When was the last time you thought about changing your hair?’. If the answer doesn’t name a short time period than the person isn’t a real scene-ster. Real ones often change their hair: the cut, the style or the color.

Unlike in the case of many other hairstyles, when it comes to scene hairstyles there isn’t one cut that is considered to be standard. It is hard to pick a hairstyle for this role because it is the personality that determines the hair and we all know that there aren’t two personalities that are the same. This hairstyle is much influenced by the music the person likes, the friends she has, the clothing style she has and the clubs she likes to go to.
The interesting thing about scene hairstyles is that most of them are inspired by indie, hardcore, metal, new wave, retro classic or by the 80’ pop music. This is another reason for the fact the scene hairstyles are so varied. Still there are some common cuts that you could use to create your unique look.
One of them is the blunt, shaggy, choppy. In this case the haircut is created as if the scissor would have come to life and this ‚evil, mad’ scissor took revenge on your hair. The one characteristic that can be recognized is that the cuts aren’t straight; they are always made in a way the leaves the hair cut in an angle. I know that this might sound a little crazy, but this is the way things are done.

Another cut is the androgynous one that is known for making it hard to distinguish a boy from a girl. The reason for this is that the main idea of the whole hairstyle is to be favorable for both genders so what is good for a girl should be good for a boy and viceversa, regardless of the length or the type of the hair. There are many styles that ‘like’ the Mohawk. It is used by scene-ster people as well; the only difference is that they don’t shave the sides. I hope that you will find my article useful and maybe you will get some ideas for your next scene hairstyle. The only thing you have to remember is that there are no rules, you just have to let your personality take the lead.
