The local newspaper of Bath, England
Bath Chronicle is a British weekly publication (in the present), who activated daily since 1760 until 2007. This weekly newspaper was established in the locality Bath from England.
The initial name of the publication it appears to have been the Bath Chronicle and Universal Register. The publication is the property of Northcliffe Media, witch is part of the Daily Mail and General Trust newsgroup and publishes as being a part of the Bath Newspapers Groups. The newspaper was distributed locally, in Bath and in the surrounding areas, namely North East of Somerset and areas from surroundings of Wilshire and North Somerset, in the towns: Bradford-on-Avon, Chippenham, Corsham, Frome, Melksham, Midsomer Norton and Radstock, Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster.
A project witch is in plan today by a Georgian Newspaper is to make and to develop a database with information from the Bath Chronicle publication that was published between the years 1770 and 1800. The copies of the Bath newspapers are held by the Bath Library in the section Local Studies, including the newspapers indexed in this project. The major subjects of the database will include gathering information about the people, places, services and local events of Bath and the areas that surround the location, art, fashion, crime, punishment, pets and politics in the Georgian Bath.
The project is coordinated by Dr Donald Straughan together with a group of volunteers The work of the Dr. Donald and his volunteers started in 2003 and they stated that it was a very useful and interesting activity for them. The database will allow the people who would want to read different subjects from the Bath Chronicle to find the information that they wanted in a shorter period of time. You can find the subjects that you want only searching by names or by any other words.

The weekly publication has the format of a tabloid newspaper, witch has as editor, the talented Sam Holliday.
