Thick Lips

If you have thick lips, you can consider yourself a lucky woman, because you are envied by many women who have small lips and want them bigger. Another good thing is that usually men appreciate big lips as being a symbol of the fertility, so you may have a successful social life, according to some men.

If you are a woman with thick lips, you may adore them or you may hate them, because there are some women who are obsessed with their lips because they think are too big. In this case, they search different solutions to get rid of this problem or at least minimize it by cosmetic or surgical methods.

So, if you don’t like your lips because you think they are to thick, you can go see an esthetician doctor, who can take you the excess of fat from lips, leaving them with a size smaller, or, simpler, you can use some simple tricks to draw the attention away from your lips, for example to your eyes, by using a more daring eye makeup or the well-known “smoky eyes”.

So, if you are afraid of a surgery or you don’t like needles and knives, you have this option to “modify” the aspect of your lips by using the proper lip products. In this case, you must know, first of all, that if you have thick lips it is forbidden to you to overdraw the natural contour of your lips. On the contrary, you have to contour your lips a little bit inside them, so that they look smaller after you put some lipstick too.

When it comes to lipsticks, there are certain issues that you must take into account. For example, one of them would b the texture of your lipstick. If you want your lips to look smaller, you have to use more the lipsticks instead of lip glosses, and that’s because the gloss, being so fluid, created a “glass” effect” that you don’t want for your lips because in this way they would look even bigger than they really are.

A lipstick is more recommended for you because its composition helps it stay better on lips, and with the help of a well made contour, you will manage to create the illusion of a smaller lip.

Then, another important thing is the color of the lipstick. If you think your lips are too big, then you should avoid the shades that are too light, because we all know that these ones have a volumizing effect. On the other hand, a darker shade will make your lips look smaller because it doesn’t reflect so much the light and doesn’t draw the attention on your lips all the time.
