What Causes Ridges In Fingernails
Ridges that appear in fingernail are of two different kinds, there are the vertical nail ridges and there are the horizontal nail ridges. Anyhow, are they always able to size them? Unlike the vertical ridges, the horizontal ones look nothing alike and they have causes such as chemotherapy, liver cirrhosis, diabetes, low albumin levels, carbon monoxide poisoning, heart failure, HIV infection, etc.
If you have already developed one kind of these particular nail ridges, you must take care and treat them. While the vertical ridges in fingernails may be better taken care than the horizontal ones, they will never fade away for good, as long as they appeared once. They will just be less sizeable if you make the proper treatment.
