What to know about thick lipstick and heavy makeup

I think we all know at least a little something about lipstick and makeup in general by now. We all know that these things are very wide spread in our days and I do not think there is anything wrong with women wanting to enhance their natural beauty but I do not think that they should go to extremes and thick lipstick and heavy makeup seems a bit extreme to me.

Still I don’t think we should generalize and it is up to each person to decide what works for her because every person is unique.

There are some situations when thick lipstick and heavy makeup is OK. One great example is the runway. In such cases the makeup artists have to come up with a style that it suitable for the clothing line, and in case that is a bit extreme, the makeup should be extreme as well. Another situation is when you have to be on stage. The powerful lights that are on the stage might make the skin look pale and this is why thick lipstick and heavy makeup is a must in this case. The truth is that I can’t really think of other situations, except for those when you really want to look that way. Special events might need heavy makeup like Halloween or other dress-up parties.

In normal cases people say that the thick lipstick and heavy makeup make women look trashy and in such cases everybody prefers a more natural look on women. Naturally this is totally up to you because it is you image that we are talking about, and if you don’t mind whether people think you are cheap then you should go for it. Still most women think that sometimes less is more and it is easier to get the attention of men with a normal makeup rather than with heavy makeup. It is true that for sure men would observe you, but that’s kid of it. Most probably they will be joking about you in their group and I don’t think that any woman would like that.

It is normal to use cosmetics and makeup, but there is a lone that we should not cross in normal situations. I am sure you know that for the daytime it is better to choose bright colors for your makeup and for the night you can go a little darker to make yourself noticed. You might see that there are a lot of rules when it comes to makeup.
