Although he has said that no taxes will be implemented, George W. Bush has brooked his promise and the American people had to face new taxes. All of us know that not all the future presidents respect their words.

Bush was beaten by Bill Clinton and the one who gain the United States presidency after this one, was George H.W. Bush’s soon. As I said before the Bush family was seriously involved in politics. George W.H. Bush become the president of United States of America when everything was changing, the entire world was changing.

All of you know the main reason why Bush started to lose popularity. He has promised better times and what do you think he has done. He has broken his promise and implemented new taxes although he has promised there won’t be other taxes. People never forget. The economical recession and the fact he has broken his promise made George H.W. Bush lose the presidency of United States of America in front of Bill Clinton in 1992. It was quite a short but full of events mandate. All the Americans will remember the 41 president thanks to its famous line: read mu lips: no new taxes.

Bush announced his reelection in 1992 but it seemed he wasn’t what people needed. Their doubts were too big in order to reelect him. Bush has loosed many of its supporters because he has broken” no new taxes” and this was definitively one of the main reasons Bill Clinton has elected.
